Southern Cross Care Queensland: Putting people at the centre of care

Published by Health Metrics, November 20, 2025

At Southern Cross Care Queensland (SCCQ) the true value of technology lies in making things easier for frontline workers, freeing them to focus on what matters most: people.

SCCQ is a trusted and growing aged care provider across Queensland, regional New South Wales and Victoria. For more than ten years, SCCQ has used Health Metrics platform, eCase, across its Residential Aged Care (RAC) homes. In July, the organisation welcomed four new residential homes, bringing them onto the eCase platform to align with the rest of the organisation.

“The Broken Hill homes we acquired were on another platform,” explains Jodi Havill, Head of Residential Aged Care at SCCQ. “By moving them onto eCase, we gained consistency across all of our homes – a single source of truth.”

That means greater transparency, better data, and baseline information the team can rely on for every resident, wherever they are in the organisation.

Key Highlights:

  • eCase delivers a single source of truth across all Southern Cross Care Queensland sites.
  • Seamless integration saves time, enabling more focus on residents.
  • Collaboration and codesigned innovations drive real product enhancements.
  • eCase positions Southern Cross Care Queensland to meet upcoming Aged Care reforms.
