August 23, 2018

Health Metrics today announced it had acquired JS Data, a Queensland based technology company and supplier of Community Services Software, ProSIMs.

Steven Strange, Health Metrics CEO said the acquisition aligned with the company’s strategy to provide an integrated platform across the Social Care spectrum of Residential (Aged Care), Retirement Living, Home, Community Health and Disability whilst also significantly enhancing Health Metrics’ offering for its customers in Australia, New Zealand as well as the UK and South East Asia.

“The acquisition of JS Data adds another layer of expertise to Health Metrics in terms of developing a deeper understanding of the rapidly accelerating Disability and NDIS sector”, said CEO Steven Strange.

JS Data’s core product, ProSIMS, is an integrated Community Service management system, providing disability care organisations with complete governance from Client Case Management and service delivery through to Human Resources, Rostering, Payroll Integration, compliance and government reporting. ProSIMS has in excess of 60 active clients across Australia.

“We are very excited about the sale of JS Data to Health Metrics. Having built our company from the ground up, we know we are transitioning it to a leading care software provider with similar values, and the infrastructure to take it to the next level. We know it is going to provide a fantastic opportunity for growth and ensure long-term sustainability and support for our customers and staff”, said John McDonnell, former Director of JS Data.

Founded in 2008, Health Metrics is a leading provider of software solutions to the health and wellbeing sector. Their enterprise software, eCase, is an end-to-end system that supports the functions of Residential Aged Care, Retirement Villages, Community Health Centres, Home and Disability Care for customers of any size.

eCase is designed with a Single Client Record architecture. This means that as clients move from Home Care, into other forms of care, their clinical and other records move with them, irrespective of their status, location or the services they are receiving.

Health Metrics has twice appeared on the Smart 50 and BRW Fast 100 lists.
