Established in 2008, Health Metrics is a leading provider of software solutions to the aged care sector. Health Metrics’ enterprise software solution, eCase, supports the functions of Residential Aged Care (RAC), Home Care (HC) and Retirement Villages (RV) for customers of any size.

Backed by founders with extensive knowledge of IT, aged care metrics, and clinical care, eCase is fast becoming the number one choice of leading providers of aged care in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Health Metrics partners with clients to ensure ongoing high levels of client satisfaction. With dedicated account management, clients using eCase also have access to a 24/7 help desk. Health Metrics’ holds regular ‘User Group’ conferences for clients, as well as training sessions, to ensure staff get the most out of eCase.

Health Metrics is also a provider of consulting and training services to the health and ageing industry via the Health Metrics Advisory Team; being recognised in thought leadership on Accreditation, Audits, ACFI, ACAR applications and Clinical Training (amongst others).

Chief Executive Officer

Steven Strange is CEO and co-founder of Health Metrics. As a recognized technology expert and innovator within the aged care industry, he takes special interest in disruptive technology and the associated challenges for the ageing population. A sought after speaker, Steven is highly regarded for his thought leadership in what is the complex landscape of the Health and Wellbeing sectors.

Lisa Papettas

Chief Operating Officer

Lisa Papettas is the COO/Clinical Director and co-founder of Health Metrics. Lisa is a Registered Nurse with over 25 years of industry experience. She is a Nurse Advisor on the Department of Health and Ageing Advisory Panel specialising in compliance management. Lisa is responsible for all Operational aspects of the Health Metrics business. Lisa has previously held positions in Quality Management, Residential Management and specialised consulting services. Specialising in ACFI and Compliance Risk matters Lisa brings an extensive expertise to Health Metrics in service delivery to the aged care sector.

Maurice Barclay

Special Projects

Maurice is an Executive Manager with a proven track record in improving customer and business outcomes through leading large scale strategic business improvement and change initiatives both Nationally and Internationally, within leading global companies in the freight and logistics sector. Maurice is also a director of Australian Public Service Benevolent Society Limited and APS Savings Pty Ltd.

Tammy Sherwood

Group Engagement Manager

Tammy has over 16 years of experience in client engagement and strategic business development in the Health sector.  With strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills, Tammy has specific expertise in pharmaceutical and medication management services across all modes of Community, retirement village aged care and has undertaken international research in best practice in this area.   With a proven track record of success in building mutually beneficial partnerships with clients, Tammy is exceptionally customer focused and skilled in creating strong and lasting business relationships.

 

Ruvani de Silva

General Manager – Health Metrics Advisory Team

With over 30 years of experience in residential aged care services, Ruvani now consults to the industry via her role as General Manager of the Health Metrics Advisory Team.  During her career, Ruvani has assisted several organisations with the development and implementation of operational, clinical and human resource management programs.  She has also implemented quality frameworks and continuous improvement programs.  She has provided management and leadership education for many levels of staff in aged care, including nurse unit managers, clinical care coordinators and directors of nursing, and as an educator at RMIT, teaching both under graduate and post-graduate students in health sciences.

Craig Charlton

Chairman

The Chairman’s role at Health Metrics is that of an non-executive, independent Directorship, involving both Governance and Strategy.  

Craig, a Strategic Advisor at Accel-KKR, was formerly Senior Vice President and General Manager of Epicor Software Corporation, Asia Pacific.  He brings to the role of Chairman more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of software sales, marketing, consulting, customer service and product development.  Further, Craig is a highly recognised figure in the aged care industry.

Bruce Salvin

Board Member

Bruce Salvin is a Health Metrics Board Member and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Bayley House, a community based, Victorian Disability Services Provider, a position he has held since mid 2011. Bruce has a professional background in nursing, having completed his initial qualification at Melbourne’s Prince Henry’s Hospital in the early1980’s. In addition, he has also obtained post-graduate qualifications in Advanced Nursing Administration, Coronary Care Nursing and Health Services Management from RMIT.

Richard Lane

Board Member

Richard Lane is a Health Metrics Board Member. Richard has had a career in the Finance/Banking Industry spanning 45 years which included 31 years with a major Australian Bank. Now retired, Richard has continued financial duties as a club treasurer and as a Parish Council Executive.

Peter Sydes

Board Member

Peter Sydes is a Health Metrics Board Member. Peter has worked in or in association with the Aged Care and Community Services sectors since 1986 and held senior management positions in both For-Profit and Not-For-Profit organisations. Over the past twenty years Peter has been involved in the development of new residential aged care services, retirement villages, community care and disability programs. More recently his community services experience has extended to the areas of Child Protection and Multicultural programs as well as Training and Employment.
